The New Faces of Zagreb

One of the reasons I love travel is for the people I inevitably meet along the way. I'm a talker. On a recent trip to Zagreb, while wandering the Habsburg-flavored streets and ducking into cafes, and poking through flea markets and galleries, I had the pleasure of encountering a warm and welcoming collection of faces, providing me with the best souvenirs of this under rated city. There is really no better way to get to know a place than by asking a local to tell you his favorite place to eat, or to share a few stories. Zagreb is relatively off the radar for most travelers so I wanted to introduce the world, or at least those that fly Easy Jet, to this great city via the people who make the espresso-sized Croatian capital truly a must-see destination. I'm happy to report that the editors at Easy Jet also saw the appeal and published this piece. I hope it inspires you to travel, and to meet people. And if you stop in Zagreb, please say dober dan (hi) from me.  See the full article by clicking here.
